Az első Cosmopolitan

Sokan nem tudjátok, hogy a Cosmopolitan eredetileg nem női magazinnak készült. 1960-tól lett divatmagazin. Az első Cosmo 1886-ban látott napvilágot az Amerika Egyesült Államokban. A képen sajnos nem az elsőt láthatjátok, de az is így nézett ki. Az alapítója John Briben Walker volt. A magazin megújítója azonban Helen Gurley Brown volt, aki egy teljesen új lapot kreált. Megváltoztatta a nevét "The Cosmopolitan-ról" "Cosmopolitan-ra", és a névvel együtt a téma is más lett. Az amerikai főszerkesztője most Joanna Coles, Magyarországon pedig Sabján Johanna.

Cosmopolitan was not a fashion magazine for the first time. It has been fashion magazine from 1960. The first Cosmo has been published on 1886 in the USA. On the picture it's not the first cover, but the this one is similar to that. The founder of this magazine was John Briben Walker but Helen Gurley Brown who was the remaker of it. She made Cosmopolitan reborn. The name has been changed from "The Cosmopolitan" to "Cosmopolitan" and the topic has been changed too. The american editor in chief its Joanna Coles in Hungary is Johanna Sabján.

A magazin legelső száma 1945-ben jelent meg Franciaországban Héléne Gordon és Pierre Lazareff vezetésével. A magazin legérdekesebb története, hogy teljesen véletlenül lett világszerte olvasható. A házaspár a második világháborús évek alatt Amerikában bújkált (zsidó származásuk miatt), de ott is kiadták a magazin francia nyelven. Azonban egy plázában amiben francia napokat tartottak, váratlanul több, mint 600.000 példány fogyott és erre az amerikai újságírók felkapták a fejüket. Így a második ELLE magazin Amerikában jelent meg angol nyelven. Amerikai főszerkesztője Robbie Myers, nálunk pedig Liptai Lívia.

Under the WW2 the couple went to the US because theirs origin but they kept the magazine publishing on french. In a shopping center where was french days suddenly they sold 600.000 copies of it. So the second language of ELLE was english. In america the editor in chief is Robbie Myers in our little country is Lívia Liptai.
